How we work

The ground rules, plainly stated.

01

Fixed-scope, phased delivery

Every engagement broken into phases with clear deliverables. You know what you're paying and what you're getting. No surprise invoices, no scope drift.

02

Production-first engineering

We build for the load you have next year, not the demo on Friday. Type-safe, indexed, observable, with monitoring baked in from day one.

03

Full IP transfer on delivery

You own the code, the schema, the design files, the deployment infrastructure. No vendor lock-in, no license games.

04

NDA-ready before any specifics

We sign first, talk later. Sensitive operational details, financial models, internal workflows — all protected before they leave your office.

05

Senior engineering only

Every line of code shipped is reviewed by a senior engineer. We don't outsource the hard parts. We don't fill out the team with juniors and bill you for the gap.

Founder

I'm Peter Kibet. Engineer, farmer, founder.

I've spent three years shipping systems that carry real operational load — a multi-tenant farm platform running 26,000+ plants and 200+ workers, an enterprise poultry ERP managing 7,400 hens across three production houses, and a diocese platform serving 85+ parishes across eight archdeaconries in Western Kenya.

That last one — the ACK Diocese of Kitale system — covers M-Pesa and Stripe payments, an Expo mobile app, 128 API endpoints, and 80 data models. It's the kind of scope that makes you build carefully, because the people depending on it aren't optional users.

I'm Kenya's Anthropic Claude Code Ambassador — Anthropic's developer community lead in the country. That role means I use Claude every day, I know where it shines, and I know where it breaks. AI integration isn't a buzzword on this site — it's the practice.

We took on the Spidey Labs name in May 2026 — the legal wrapper finally caught up with three years of shipping.

Community

We run Claude Community Kenya.

As the official Anthropic developer community in Kenya, we host meetups, run workshops, and connect engineers building with Claude across the region. 300+ members and growing.

For clients, the community is more than a side project — it's a recruiting pipeline, a training resource for your in-house team, and a sounding board when you're evaluating AI investments. We plug your team into it.
